Keeps the mind focused.

I heard this in Intermad and really liked it; hearing it without graphics now is just as amazing and the sound, despite being of a slightly disadvantaged quality, is quite brilliant to listen to. Normally I only check out the first three or four pages of top ranked songs on the Goth genre list, but this is well worth branching out for. I like it a great deal better than most of the higher ranked songs. Lovely to listen to, and captivating.

karthon responds:

thank you very much.)

Creates good imagery.

I can picture near the end of an episode of Criminal Intent: Detective Goran's eyes narrowing, watery and thoughtful, and his mouth set in a firm, straight line. Scene fades out, next there's a cat-and-mouse elusive search for who they now know to be the criminal. Well done, very thoughtful and mysterious. Also very eerie, but it works in the favour of the song, of course.

Equation responds:

Ha as I read what you put I was listening to this and I could picture that too... I pictured a film noir type setting all in black and white :-)

I'm glad you liked the song, I'm gonna start making more like this very soon.

Fantastic.

This is a really powerful piece; with brilliant guitar, drum and piano work. Practically every element of this works in it's favour - and it's definitely wonderful to listen to. I love the rhythm and the tune of this, it's very energetic and yet dark and sombre at the same time. Pre-preparation for an apocalyptic mythological inter-species war, anyone? Still, great job; one of the best things I've heard from you.
Yes, insomnia is the BEST catalyst, and never forget it. This song here is a great example.

XxX-WOLF-XxX responds:

Wow, thank you so much!
Yes, definitely could be a preparation for an apocalyptic mythological inter-species war ha ha.
Fortunately, I suffer from insomnia almost every night. ; )

A bit on-off with this one.

Didn't really get a fantastic liking for it until near the end, after the robot quote when the Transformers theme was finally properly recognizable. Still, I enjoyed listening to it, and it was that extra bit awesome, so I fived it.

Bob-Music responds:

Thanks :)

Hm, different.

This sound unique when compared to most other DnB tracks I've heard. It's well put together and exciting, but yes, a little rushed, as you said. Good job, though.

Paroxym responds:

Appreciate the review.

...Breathtaking...

I started crying mid-way into the song... About two and a half minutes in. I don't even know why, I just did...it was that beautiful and haunting, and yes, very nostalgic. I feel all weak and girly now because I hate to cry... Hard to keep up a tough girl act, but this song truly was gorgeous and truly inspiring to the very end. I wish I could write a hugely long and in-depth review like Lance but I'm a bit lost for words right now... Thank you so much for making this. It's lovely.

sculpted-cold responds:

Wow, I didn't expect to read that! I'm glad this song evoked such emotion from someone. You don't need to write a long review to get your point across... Sometimes it only takes a few words (e.g. Siffur). :)

I should be the one thanking you for listening and reviewing, but you're very welcome! Thank you for listening and sharing your experience.

Fived.

As much as Oddler was right about the emotionlessness of the song and the hit and miss factor, I really do like the outcome and it was fun to stick around and see how the song progressed. It's kind of cheesy sometimes, and very machine-like in the tune, but still, it was accomplished well and I can't find too much fault with it.

ragingmullet responds:

Thank you. I totally agree with everything thing you just said.

Compelled me to do a lame computer-chair dance.

This is brilliant, I couldn't help but enjoy it. You've done the original justice. I really think that this has such an amazing 80s feel to it, and it works in all the right ways. The choiral sounds are quite nice too... Make more, because you are definitely cut out for this sort of thing.
<3 Much love.

MarkySpark responds:

Thanks, I feel honoured. People still think I used DM instruments but I did not use any. The intro is a bit of the original reversed. I love doing cover versions and DM are great. The score is low as some people still like to hate vote, which is very sad.

Disturbing synth... and the vocals remind me eerily of the band The Cruxshadows. Not overly intense, but definitely had a melodic, haunting quality. It fits the genre in an old-school fashion, so extra points for that. 5/5. Not a bad piece. <3

ericdrebin responds:

Thanks! I don't know the Cruxshadows, I'll have to look them up. I was trying to sound similar to Dead Can Dance and This Mortal Coil (hence the name drop) without sounding like a direct copy. I've always loved the old 80's goth music, back before everything turned into stiletto heels for men and loud, talentless guitar.

Freaking FANTASTIC

Loved this version the absolute best and I could listen to it for hours upon hours. Really upbeat and insanely catchy. This is an amazing piece of music.

Dj-Fanta5t1c responds:

thanks man!!
